Dear Vanlue Families,

In an effort to remain as transparent as possible, we feel it is necessary to inform you of an incident that occurred today.

A student found a written threat regarding a school shooting which was reported to administration.   The school administrators immediately notified our School Resource Officer and we began an investigation.   School disciplinary action along with possible law enforcement action will be taken.  At no time today was there any immediate danger to any student or staff member.

We appreciate your willingness to continually trust us with your children.  We make every effort to provide them a safe and caring environment while at school.
