Vanlue School has the following full time positions available for the upcoming school year:
Classroom Aide
We are hiring two aides for the upcoming school year with the following requirements:
Assist and supervise assigned student(s) in any instructional or school related setting including, but not limited to: bus transportation, regular education classrooms, special education rooms, lunch area, play area, recreation/physical education activities, field trips, hallways or bathrooms while under the supervision and direction of a teacher
Assist teacher in managing behavior of students' in classroom
Develop/maintain relationships with students and parents
Reinforce goals and objectives of the students' IEP
Qualifications:
Educational Aide's license
Experience working with children
Ability to work independently
Successfully pass BCI/FBI background checks
Acknowledges personal accountability for decisions and conduct
Demonstrates professionalism and contributes to a positive work environment
Maintains an acceptable attendance record and is punctual
Salary - Base pay: $12.50/hour

2nd Shift Custodian:
The 2nd shift custodian is responsible for but not limited to after school hours: sweeping classrooms/stairwells, vacuuming classrooms, wiping down desks/tables/chairs/door knobs, emptying trash, helping set up for home athletic events, etc. Some mixing of cleaning chemicals will be required.
